I designed a revolutionary three-panel navigation system for Trello that seamlessly integrates inbox, planner, and boards. This innovative approach allows users to effortlessly move between their incoming tasks, daily planning, and project boards while maintaining context and reducing cognitive load. The system adapts to different workflows while preserving Trello's signature simplicity and flexibility.
I led the development of Atlassian's comprehensive AI design system, creating a unified framework for AI experiences across all products. This system establishes consistent patterns for AI agents, machine learning features, and intelligent automation, ensuring our AI interfaces are intuitive, trustworthy, and aligned with Atlassian's human-centered design principles.
I designed this framework to help other designers navigate the complexity of design critiques. The flowchart maps out the interconnected elements of successful design feedback, providing a clear path through stakeholder management, context alignment, principles, research, metrics, and shared goals.
I had the pleasure of designing a limited edition commemorative shirt to celebrate Bitbucket reaching 1 million users.
I led the design of SourceTree's dark mode feature, carefully crafting a visually balanced interface that reduces eye strain during late-night coding sessions. The design process involved creating a comprehensive color system, redesigning UI components, and ensuring optimal contrast ratios while maintaining the app's familiar feel.
Mac Tonic is an apple repair/retail shop in Eugene. They approached me with a tight deadline: redesign their site and launch before students return to campus in 3 weeks. They wanted a site that would show off their quirky/fun side, while remaining a reliable source for all things apple. It also had to display perfectly on mobile devices. The end product was very successful!
